According to models used by the state, California Governor Gavin Newsom said he expects the COVID-19 outbreak to peak there some time in May 2020. To fight the pandemic, the state has asked licensed health professionals to raise their hands to work via a new Health Corps site, which scored 25,000 sign-ups in its first day. Source
